Inspired by the bountiful areca palm trees that surround south India, we came across a remarkable solution. The areca palm, with its large leaves that naturally dry and fall off the tree, provided us with a sustainable resource. It was the perfect material to create our biodegradable areca palm leaf plates and cutlery.

After undergoing a thorough cleaning process, the palm leaves are delicately stretched and flattened by hand.
